Why a World Activism Day?

The Global Consciousness Project, born out of research at Princeton University found that during times of great tragedy human consciousness focuses to such a degree that it actually affected their computers physically all around the world.

What if human consciousness was focused on a healing intention, together, for a 24 hour period?

What is World Activist Day?

On the last Saturday of April each year, beginning at 10 am, worldwide, human rights, environmental, peace and justice, and other activist groups around the planet are invited to hold events, teach-ins, vigils, and other participatory events as part of the global wave of healing intention that is World Activist Day.

We encourage all World Activism Day events to include a few minutes of mindful contemplation, meditation, or prayer to begin their events, as all things begin from human consciousness. By calming and clearing our consciousness our actions become more pure, more effective, and more meaningful.

Our Birthing Process

In past years some world healing activist events were melded with World Tai Chi & Qigong Day events which have been held in hundreds of cities in over 65 nations, spanning 6 continents. It is time for activists to become a full partner in this extraordinary human event - a wave of global healing intent . . . World Healing Day.

Events have been covered by CNN, FOX News, BBC World Radio, The South China Morning Post, German International Radio, Parade Magazine, and media worldwide.

Governors of more than half the US States have officially proclaimed events for their states, and senates and legislatures have issued proclamations as well.

Past events have included ones held at the United Nations Building (New York) and the Nobel Peace Center (Oslo, Norway).
